Fads/Trends In Summer 2011? [Investing]?

So, I'm 14 and I've made some money that I want to invest. I've already invested in things like silver (when it was about 20$) and from a 500$ investment made about 2500. I've just put some in to Microsoft because it will probably go up considering it was not shareholder's money that bought Skype and all the other companies that were purchased. But now I want a trend to invest in. If SillyBandz had a ticker symbol, then that's "parallel" to what I'm taking about. So if there is anything that you can think of that is similar to that then just post it below... Thanks!
