Would you recommend spray tan for me?

I am very pale. I do burn sorta easily but its just sooo hard for me to get colour. Usually i embrace myself being different and very "white" and pale, but i can't take getting made fun of, or my friends making funny comments about it anymore. They mean well, but it seems to bother me. Plus with summer coming up i do want to look darker in my shorts and tanks! Would you recommend me going for a spray tan. TANNING BEDS ARE A NO. But a spray tan might work, i just want to make sure im not tooo noticeably darker where i look fake or orange. Suggestions and advice is greatly appreciated :) Also i have tried that tanning lotion, NOT FOR ME. I go streaky and orange. Remember i am verry pale, with some freckles. Thank you so much:)
